Speedy McSpeedface

The Tempo Picker™ (aka "The BPM Guessing Game") lets you assign a speed to your backing track or MultiTrack—y'know, so OnSong knows how freakin' fast your track is supposed to go. It's basically metadata about your audio file, not an actual tempo-shifter. (We know, we know—peeps get confused about this literally every day.)

Drag left, right, up, or down like you're playing some weird invisible theremin to hunt down your desired tempo zone. Once you're in the ballpark, tap the edges to nudge the BPM up or down by one beat at a time. Top or right edge? Tempo goes UP. Left or bottom edge? Tempo goes DOWN. Revolutionary, we know.

Feelin' fancy? Tap the middle of the control in time with your song & OnSong will average out your taps to figure out the tempo. (Translation: hit the button rhythmically & pray it works.)

ZOMG, we also added MIDI clock detection! If you're connected to MIDI equipment that's emitting a clock signal, flip the switch at the bottom & let the robots do the work. Wanna tweak how the metronome actually sounds? Tap the options menu & peep Metronome Settings.
