Yo, Tryna Hook Up w/ AirPlay
OnSong does this wild thing where it beams your lyrics & stage monitor onto whatever TV or screen you've got lyin' around. Apple TV? Some random AirPlay doohickey? Yep, we got you. Chord charts, lyrics, the whole shebang — all floatin' on your big screen like magic (except it's actually just code).
Here's the thing: Apple TV doesn't need WiFi to vibe with your device. It's like they're on a secret wavelength or somethin'. BUT if your Apple TV IS connected to WiFi, make sure your OnSong device is chillin' on the same network, ya feel me?
iPad & iPhone
Swipe down from the upper right like you're tryna close a pop-up (you know you do this). Hit that Screen Mirroring button — it's the two rectangles gettin' all cozy with each other. Boom. A list of every AirPlay receiver within screamin' distance pops up. Tap your Apple TV & start the magic show.
Mac
Click the Control Center thingy (the one with two switches) up in the menu bar, because Macs gotta be extra. Find Screen Mirroring & pick your Apple TV or whatever receiver you're feelin' that day. Pro tip from us try-hards: use it as an extended display, then yeet your lyrics projection or stage monitor window over there. Chef's kiss.
Stop Mirroring
iPad/iPhone peeps: open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring again, tap Stop Mirroring. Done. Mac users: Control Center → Screen Mirroring → Stop. We're not complicated, we're just thorough.
PSA: If you're rockin' an Apple TV in public, maybe slap a passcode on that AirPlay situation. Trust us, you don\u{2019}t want random audience members screen-castin' their vacation pics or whatever.
