Tweak Your Jams

The song editor lets you mess with text-based chord charts like you actually know what you're doing. This screen's got all the bleepin' widgets you need to build & edit your chord charts (spoiler: it's a LOT):

The Big Kahuna Menu Thing

The menubar's got all the tools to help you wrangle your chord chart into submission. Plus, you can tap "Done" to save your genius work, or hit "Cancel" when you realize you've made a total mess of it.

That Big Text Box in the Middle

Basically the whole dang screen is just one giant text editor where your song file lives. Tap in there & use the keyboard & that fancy quick chord bar thingy to make your edits happen.

The Shortcut Chord Bar

This lil' bar chills above the keyboard & gives you quick-tap buttons to yeet chords & symbols into your chart without typing like a caveman.

The On-Screen Keyboard

Soon as you tap into the text editor, boom—keyboard appears. We'll dive into all the keyboard weirdness you might actually care about in just a sec.

The Secret Conversion Power-Up (not shown)

If you imported a song file that wasn't already plain text (because you like to make our lives harder), this toolbar pops up under the keyboard so you can finally convert it like a normal person.

Tiny Mode

Using the Song Editor on a phone? Don't worry—we squished everything down so you get ALL the power on your lil' handheld gadget without your brain exploding.
