Look How Pretty (or Not)
Display settings let you totally dial in how OnSong throws songs & its janky user interface at your device. It's got these rad options:
Lemme See in the Dark Mode
This switch is your ticket to toggling low light mode on & off like a boss. When it's cranked, chord charts get that edgy black background with white text vibe. Plus, menus go full goth mode too — black background, white text, the whole moody package. Low light mode is basically your eyes' bodyguard for dark stages, keepin' the eye strain & ambient light from crashtackling you.
Note: Low light mode only vibes with text-based chord charts. If your song's flexin' as a PDF, Microsoft Word, or whatever other random file format, it shows up "as-is." Srsly, low light mode can't touch those. SUCKS.
What Language Are You Even Speakin'?
OnSong defaults to whatever language your device is blabbin' in. But ZOMG, OnSong actually supports some languages that even your device's like "nah fam." You can totally switch up the OnSong interface language right here. Fair warnin' though — the app needs a complete restart to make it stick.
The Screensaver Situation (But Not Really)
When you're crushin' it with music, you ain't got time to keep tapping the screen like some kinda maniac. OnSong's got your back — screen stays on & never passes out. Downside? You gotta actually turn OnSong OFF when you're done, or your battery's gonna rage-quit on you. If you wanna live dangerously, you can tweak this to anything between 2 minutes & 3 hours.
How Songs Look (The Nerdy Bit)
This unlocks the song formatting settings rabbit hole. These options are basically the puppet masters of how chords, lyrics & all that other song junk appear on your screen.
The Song Viewer Hotness
This is where the song viewer options hang out. Here's where you tell OnSong how to actually draw your songs on the screen & squeeze out performance for weird file types.
