ZOMG, Moar Bookz!

ZOMG You Wanna Make a Book? Here's How.

The Add New Book screen is where you go to, uh, add a new book. Revolutionary, we know.

Type in Your Book's Name (Yeah, That Thing)

Go ahead. Type. We'll wait. Name your book. Don't overthink it—it's not like you're naming your firstborn or anything.

Separate Styles (aka Keep Your Mess Organized)

Okay so here's the dealio: this option lets you decide if songs in this book can have their own little vibe. What that means is—and stay with us here—songs you dump into this book can rock a different key, different notes, different styles, different doodles, and basically pretend they're not related to your other versions of the same song. Totes useful if you play the same tune with like, five different bands & vocalists & your brain is already fried trying to remember who sings what. Wild, right? Here's what you got:

  • Default = boring. Uses whatever settings you already tortured yourself into setting up way back in the Utilities Menu » Settings » Menu Settings » Songs » Books. Thrilling stuff.
  • Off = yeet your changes into the master library like it's the only version that matters. Other sets with Separate Set/Song Styles turned on will laugh at you from afar & do their own thing.
  • On = keep your edits locked down to just this set. Master library stays pristine. Other sets stay clueless. Democracy!

Done tweaking? Tap the Done button up in the corner & boom—your book exists now. Watch it appear in the book list like magic. Or don't tap it & hit Cancel instead if you're suddenly having second thoughts & wanna pretend this never happened. No judgment.
