More Ways to Yeet Your Music
This menu is basically OnSong's way of lettin' you freakin' customize how your files escape into the wild. Buckle up, peeps.
Smash It Into One File
So like, when you've got a whole set or a bunch of songs & you're tryna export 'em, OnSong's default move is to be all "here's 47 separate files, have fun organizing that nightmare." But flip THIS switch & BAM—all those individual files get smooshed into one mega-file. Wanna output a PDF set? You get ONE beautiful, multi-page PDF instead of a folder full of chaos. Chef's kiss.
'Cept not all file formats are cool with this move. Some formats are just like "nah bro, I work alone." So yeah, your mileage may vary.
Wrap It Up Like a Present (ZIP)
Exporting a ton of files & your brain hurts? ZIP files got your back. This option takes all those individual exported songs & jams 'em into ONE zip file that people can unzip later. Pro tip: email servers are paranoid little gremlins that block or yeet attachments they don't recognize (or think are sus). ZIP files? They usually slip right through because apparently they're trustworthy. Wild, right?
Just the Words, Thanks
When you're exporting chord charts in like, a gazillion formats, you can tell OnSong "yo, lose the chords & gimme just the lyrics." Perfect for when you're makin' a hymn book for your congregation or sendin' stuff to a vocalist who can't read chords anyway. (No judgment.)
Keep It Real (Original Key)
OnSong's got this fancy transposition thing that lets you shift keys all willy-nilly, independent of what the song actually says underneath. By default, it exports YOUR transposed version. But flip on this bad boy & it's like "nope, we're goin' with what the original song actually was in." Classic "undo my own choices" energy.
Ditch the Capo
Sometimes you put a capo on a song & then regret your entire life. This setting's for that. Turn it on & OnSong strips the capo right off before exportin'. So like, if your song's originally in A & you slapped a capo on 2 (makin' it G), toggling THIS will export it back to A. It's literally the undo button for your capo choices.
Song Flow (The Sequel Nobody Asked For)
This one controls whether the song's "flow" (all those section repeats & deletions you set up) get exported or if it just goes out in boring, written order. Want your repeats & skips honored? Turn it on. Want chaos? Turn it off & let 'em guess.
